Mr. David Skinner is a lawyer with significant international experience in managing and
executing complex cross-border mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions. He returned to
Canada in 2002 after more than eight years in London, England, and Hungary. Prior to
joining Neurochem, Mr. Skinner served as Commercial Counsel and Deputy to the Director
of Commercial and Legal Affairs in the London office of Antfactory Limited, a global
firm focused on e-commerce and technology investing, small/mid-cap merchant banking and
corporate finance advisory work. Mr. Skinner also served in the Corporate Commercial
Departments of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, and Stikeman Elliott LLP, both leading
international law firms, where he was a senior associate.
Mr. Skinner holds a Bachelors degree in Geology from Williams College in Massachusetts, as well as a
Bachelor of Common Law and a Bachelor of Civil Law from McGill University's Faculty of
Law. He is a member of the Quebec, the New York and the Massachusetts bar associations.
